Warren Evans is one of London's leading retailers of handmade beds. Loopo has been providing CRM solutions to Warren Evans since summer 2000. In 2005 we were asked to develop a major update to the existing CRM/Sales system. The decision was reached to implement a web-based system, to allow a quick and efficient rollout to sales staff across 3 showrooms.

 

We took this opportunity to build on our Loopo Framework Objects System, adding a web front end which has the same level of modularity and ease of configuration. A number of enhancements were implemented, such as in-place postcode searching and auto-generation of reports and invoices in PDF format. We also implemented a sophisticated interface using AJAX, a technology that allows web pages to be updated without having to refresh the whole page. This has substantially increased usability and speed of operation for a web-based application.

 

 

The new system went live in summer 2006, and has been a real success with sales staff, who appreciate the ease and speed of the new web interface. Roger Garside, project manage at Warren Evans, gave us the following feedback on the project:
